Please read carefully the terms in the conditions of contract. In completing and submitting the Booking agreement, you agree to be bound by these conditions which constitute the agreement between The Springboard Charity and you. These conditions apply to the exclusion of any other terms or conditions unless they are set out in the Booking Form or are otherwise agreed to in writing by the parties. Previous dealings between the parties will not vary these conditions. No purported variation of these conditions will be effective unless in writing and signed by a person so authorised by The Springboard Charity.
Registration for one place is £500 (non-refundable) paid by 31st August 2023
Remaining balance of £2499 pp paid by 31st December 2023
1. HOW TO BOOK
- 1.1 Booking is effected when the Charity and our Tour Operator in Cambodia accepts from you a completed booking form and payment of the £500 deposit.
- 1.2 If the trek cost balance of £2499 is not paid by 31st December 2023, your booking may be cancelled without notice and the cancellation charges set out in condition 2 will be levied.
- 1.3 Payment of the balance or the full tour price may be made by cheque, cash, Switch or Debit Card without surcharge.
- 1.4 If payment of the balance or the full tour price is made by credit card, The Charity will charge you a 2% credit card fee. The following commitments on payment apply:

- 1.5 If a booking is made after 1st September 2023, confirmation cannot be guaranteed although every effort will be made to accommodate the trekker(s). Any late booking is effected when The Springboard Charity and our Tour Operator in Cambodia accepts from you
2. CANCELLATIONS

- 2.1 If it becomes necessary to cancel your trek tour, you may cancel by notifying The Springboard Charity in writing. Upon receipt and acknowledgement by us of your written advice, cancellation will take effect. The following charges will apply for which you are personally responsible. More than 70 days Loss of deposit; 70 – 36 days 50% of the land trip cost, 100% of the flights; 35 days or less 100% of full cost. Any funds raised for the Charity at the time of cancellation will be retained by the Charity.
- 2.2 In these booking conditions ‘the cost of the tour’ includes the cost of any extras booked for that tour. No partial refunds or credit will be given for services not used. Any amount forfeited, which has not then been paid to The Springboard Charity, may be recovered from you by The Springboard Charity as a debt due and payable. We strongly recommend that travel insurance be instigated at the time of booking.
Fundraising Agreement
In agreeing to participate on the Cambodia Trek in aid of the Springboard Charity. We are very grateful for your support and wish you luck with both your fundraising and of course in succeeding with your challenge.
Our goal is to raise a minimum of £105,000 from this trek (based on 30 trekkers each raising a minimum of £3,500). This will fund support programmes to help 45 young people from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds improve their propsects for economic wellbeing and nurture them into sustainable employment in hospitality. It will help the local community project in Cambodia too.
By taking part in the trek, you are committing to help raise funds to an individual target of £3,500 minimum to reach the collective fundraising goals.
We acknowledge that you have paid a non-refundable deposit of £500 towards the cost of the expedition. The Springboard Charity will pay the remaining balance of your expedition costs to World Expeditions. By taking part, you will also be committing to pay back the full costs of the trip to The Springboard Charity (totalling £2,999 including the £500 deposit).
